Spain ignores Portugal in organizing the World

"A main objective is to bring to Spain a final phase of a World Cup, which may be to 2018. If we are united, the whole of Spanish society united, our application will be invincible." Miguel Angel Villar, in his speech reelection as chairman of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, took publicly that Spain wants the organization of the World 2018, the same dream that is doing Gilberto Madail, president of the Portuguese Federation, since last year.

But yesterday, when Villar, the only candidate, said his stay for another term as president of the RFEF, a position he occupied for 20 years, "forgot 'to Portugal. At least, during the speech, no word "directed" to his Portuguese counterpart, not realizing it, because if the possible candidacy to the World Cup 2018 (goal you set as a major) comprises Australia or not: "The first thing I do is contact the Secretary of State for Sport to talk about the future of Spanish football and this candidacy, he has always supported. Then see if a joint or not. "

The DN attempted a reaction to the omission of the FPF Angel Villar, but without success. Gilberto Madail just last week, before the Brazil-Portugal, has admitted that exchanged information with the Spanish Federation regarding the joint candidacy.
